This Privacy Policy explains how VV Industrial Automation ("VV", "we", "us", "our"), a proprietorship registered in Suryapet, Telangana, India (GSTIN 36AWNPP4417H2Z7), collects, uses, shares, and protects information in the course of providing industrial automation and software/systems-integration services, including official messaging-platform integrations such as the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) provided by Meta Platforms. It is intended to comply with the applicable requirements of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the policies of the platforms we integrate with.
VV Industrial Automation provides automation and software/systems-integration services. In many engagements we act as a technology provider and data processor, building and operating platform integrations on behalf of our business clients. In those cases the business client is the data controller (Data Fiduciary) of its own customer data, and VV processes that data only on the client's documented instructions and solely to operate the integration the client has configured. For our own client and website records, VV acts as the data controller.
We process personal data on the following bases, as applicable: the documented instructions and lawful basis of the client (Data Fiduciary) on whose behalf we process; your consent, where required; the necessity of performing a contract or providing a service you or our client has requested; and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out).
We share information only with: (a) the client on whose behalf we operate an integration; (b) the underlying platform and infrastructure providers (such as Meta Platforms and our hosting/communications sub-processors) strictly as required to deliver the service; and (c) government, regulatory, or law-enforcement authorities where required by applicable law. We require our sub-processors to protect personal data on terms consistent with this policy. We do not sell or rent personal information.
The platforms and services we integrate with — including the WhatsApp Business Platform and Meta's Cloud API — may store and process data on servers located outside India. Where personal data is transferred across borders in the course of operating an integration, such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable law and the terms and safeguards of the relevant platform provider. Meta's own handling of WhatsApp data is governed by Meta's and WhatsApp's privacy policies.
When we operate integrations with Meta's platforms, we comply with the applicable Meta Platform Terms, WhatsApp Business Terms of Service, WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, and Meta's Developer Policies. We access and use platform user data only as permitted by those terms and only to provide and support the client's integration.
We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and platform-provider record-keeping obligations. Records of access to and use of platform user data are retained in line with our obligations as a technology provider. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised. Where we process data on behalf of a client, retention follows the client's instructions and applicable law.
We apply reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the data we handle, including least-privilege access, encrypted transport, credential protection, and operational monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, and loss, and to address security incidents in accordance with applicable law.
Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, you have the right to: (a) access a summary of the personal data we process about you and how it is processed; (b) seek correction, completion, updating, or erasure of your personal data; (c) grievance redressal; and (d) nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. Because we often process data on behalf of a business client (Data Fiduciary), we will, where appropriate, forward your request to that client and assist them in responding. To exercise any right, or to delete data we hold, see our Data Deletion page or contact our Grievance Officer below.
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly process the personal data of children (individuals under 18) without verifiable parental or guardian consent as required by law. If you believe a child's data has been provided to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
This website uses only the minimal cookies/technologies necessary for it to function and, where applicable, basic analytics to understand site usage. We do not use website data to build advertising profiles. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
